(Al-Alaq) 96 : 7
أَنْ رَآهُ اسْتَغْنَىٰ
Since he evaluated him as self-sufficient.
This verse mentions Abujahil, who tried to put a big stone upon the head of Messenger Muhammad, who was prostrating at the Ka’ba. But today this verse is more applicable to Hypocritical leaders who pretend to be scholars without knowing Adhikr, and the chiefs among the Fujjar who, without considering the soul, are giving preference to the body. They are the human Satan who are trying to extinguish Adhikr–the Splendid Book–with their mouth as told in verses 9:32-34. See explanation 40:56; 41:41-43 and 64:6.
